What we hold about you, why we hold it, and how to get rid of it.

Who holds it

Milford Athletic Football Club, Wildwood Park, Stafford, is the data controller for this lottery. Our data protection contact is Dave Nicosia, and any question about your information goes to secretary@milfordathletic.com.

What we hold

Your name, your email address, your phone number if you gave us one, the Milford team you chose to support, and any dedication you put on a ticket. Alongside that we keep the record of what you bought: your club names, which draws you are in, and whether each entry is paid.

We never see your card. Payments are handled by Stripe, and the card number goes from your browser to Stripe without passing through this site. What comes back to us is a payment reference, the amount, and whether it succeeded.

Why we hold it

To run the lottery you entered, which means putting you in the draws you paid for, telling you if you win, and paying you. To keep the records a registered lottery has to keep under the Gambling Act 2005. And to tell you when the next season opens, because your ticket does not renew on its own.

Who else sees it

Stripe, to take the payment. Our email provider, to send you your ticket and your results. Nobody else. We do not sell it, we do not swap it with other clubs, and we do not give it to advertisers.

Winners are published by club name only. Your own name never appears on the site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies on any public page and runs no analytics, no advertising tags and no third party trackers. Club officials signing in to the admin pages get one cookie that keeps them signed in, and that is the only one.

How long we keep it

While you are playing, and then for seven years after your last payment, because that is how long the club has to be able to account for the money. After that it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email secretary@milfordathletic.com and we will answer within a month. Asking us to delete your details will take you out of the lottery, and we cannot refund a ticket you have already paid for.

If you think we have handled your information badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
